Modern art by the next generation

Originally uploaded by LuceroDulce

My friend's daughter M. is a very talented young girl. Her instructors say she is full of potential to become a new generation's Picasso or Kandinsky. The paintings are filled with freshness of the colors and the texture is just incredible (watercolors on canvas).

The picture was snapped with a phone and doesn't do the justice.

For any inquires about the paintings, possible sponsorship, future gallery exhibitions or if you are interested in obtaining any art pieces, please leave your message and email address in the comments.

Potatoes, garlic and onion/scallions

Garden in the kitchen made out of potatoes, garlic and onion (or is it scallions now?)
Unintentionally forgotten onion has produced scallions without any water, how convenient.

What a fine product you can find at some ethnic stores, in this case it was hispanic Kikos in Fairview, NJ. Not sure about the price but I don't think it was more than $5.

Got experience with this product? Please do share!

Alice in Wonderland books

The special (pink) leatherbound edition of Alice is very attractive but not commute friendly, so I had to settle for the green one (the one on the right side). The price difference is also very significant, pink one is about $20, the green one is $6.

To all shoe loving Cinderellas out there: most sizes plastic slippers are on sale at DSW right now.

On a side note: as goofy as they look, they actually fit pretty comfortable.

Goldman Sachs Tower is the tallest building in New Jersey just across Hudson River from his tall brothers in New York City.

The green old camera effect is the result of me playing with FxCamera app on HTC Eris (droid).
